Ma Zhiyuan: courtesy name Qianli, alias Dongli, born in Dadu (now Beijing), date of birth and death unknown. He was a playwright and sanquist in the Yuan Dynasty. He is known as the "No. 1 Yuan Opera", and together with Guan Hanqing, Bai Pu, and Zheng Guangzu, he is known as the "Four Great Masters of Yuan Opera". Ma Zhiyuan's Xiaoling "Tian Jing Sha·Qiu Si" is known as the "ancestor of Qiu Si". Tian Jing Sha is the name of the song and Qiu Si is the title.
