Pipes for blood circulation - blood vessels

1. Arteries: Blood vessels that carry blood from the heart to all parts of the body.

Features: Thick pipe wall and high elasticity

(1) Structure of the heart

1. Location: Located in the middle of the chest, lower left, between the two lungs, shaped like a peach, about the size of a person’s fist.

⒈Put the fresh heart of the animal into the dissecting dish. First observe the shape of the heart, determine the dorsal and ventral surfaces of the heart, and identify each part of the heart; pinch the atrial wall and ventricular wall with your hands to feel the thickness of the atrial wall and ventricular wall.

⒉ Refer to the heart anatomy diagram in the textbook and observe the internal structure of the dissected heart. Pay special attention to observation and identification: whether the four chambers of the heart and the two atria are connected, whether the two ventricles are connected, and identify the large blood vessels connected to the heart.

⒊Choose a large blood vessel connected to the heart and inject water into it, and observe the location where the water flows out. Select another blood vessel and repeat the above process.

The heart is the power organ of blood circulation.

The rhythmic contraction and relaxation of the myocardium form the beating of the heart. The myocardium contracts to push blood into the arteries and flows throughout the body; the myocardium relaxes and blood flows back to the heart through the veins.

Characteristics of the Adaptation of Heart Structure and Function

1. The heart wall is composed of myocardium, which can produce regular contraction and relaxation.

2. The ventricular wall is thicker than the atrium wall, and the left ventricular wall is thicker than the right ventricle, which can generate greater power to pump blood out.

3. Atrioventricular valves and arterial valves prevent blood from flowing back.

4.Heart rate
