Story introduction:

1. Innate sexual behavior

Concept: Behavior that animals are born with and determined by the genetic material in their bodies.

Examples: gray magpies feeding cuckoos, bees collecting nectar, birds brooding, dragonflies mating, spiders building webs

2. Learning behavior

Concept: It is not something animals are born with, but a behavior acquired through life experience and learning based on genetic factors, through the action of environmental factors, and through life experience.

Examples: the learning behavior of earthworms, tits eating butter, and orangutans taking bananas.

What are the differences between innate and learned behaviors in terms of survival for animals?

Innate sexual behaviors in animals are often simple behaviors that are essential at birth. Example of research plan: Research on the feeding behavior of cabbage caterpillars

3. Develop and implement plans:

(1) Look for leaves with cabbage caterpillar eggs, isolate and raise the eggs, and hatch out larvae.
