Three land reforms in Chinese history and their significance

The first time was during the Anti-Japanese War (1941), when a land policy was implemented in which landlords reduced rent and interest, and farmers paid rent and interest.

Significance: It alleviated the feudal exploitation of landlords, improved the material life of farmers, increased the enthusiasm of farmers to resist Japan and production, and was conducive to uniting landlords to resist Japan.

The second time was during the People's Liberation War. In 1947, the Communist Party of China held a national land conference and decided to carry out land reform in the liberated areas and formulated the "Outline of China's Land Law".
