Part One: The Struggle of Revolutionary Patriots

1. Ping Liuli Uprising

Liu Daoyi (1884～1906), whose ancestral home is Hengshan, Hunan, was born in Xiangtan. In his youth, he followed his brother Liu Kuiyi in engaging in revolutionary activities. In 1904, he joined the Huaxing Society and contacted the Huaxing Society to prepare for an uprising. After the failure, he went into exile in Japan. The following year, he participated in the Alliance Meeting. In the autumn of 1906, the Pingliuli Uprising that Liu Daoyi co-led broke out early. He was moving the New Army in Changsha and was arrested on his way back to Changsha from Hengyang. On December 31 of the same year, he was killed by the Qing government outside Liuyang Gate in Changsha at the age of 22. He was the first student among the students studying in Japan to be killed for the anti-Qing revolution, and the first martyr among the Tongmenghui members to shed blood and sacrifice for the revolution.

Revolution of 1911 PPT, Part 2: Wuchang Uprising

1. Background and conditions:

(1) Social background: At the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, the crisis of the Chinese nation was unprecedentedly serious, and the reactionary and traitorous nature of the Qing government was undoubtedly exposed;

(2) Material basis: At the beginning of the 20th century, national capitalism developed rapidly; the "New Deal" and "Preparatory Constitution" implemented by the Qing government objectively prepared some conditions for the bourgeois democratic revolution;

(3) Organizational basis: resumes of bourgeois and revolutionary groups and political parties;

(4) Military basis: a series of armed uprisings launched by revolutionaries;
