Author introduction: Li Huanzhi (1919-2000), a famous composer, conductor and music theorist in my country. He has composed a large number of musical works. Li Huanzhi also has profound attainments in chorus conducting and theory. Introduction of works

"Spring Festival Overture" is the first movement of "Spring Festival Suite" composed by Li Huanzhi. Because this movement is the most popular, it is often played alone.

The music is based on Chinese folk Yangko tones, rhythms and northern Shaanxi folk songs.
