The piano solo "Dance of the Dawn Wind" is the fourth piece in the piano suite "Spring Journey" composed by the famous Chinese composer Ding Shande in 1954. The violin solo "Spring in Xinjiang" was composed in 1956. The music is bold, optimistic, unrestrained and smooth, with a strong Xinjiang Uyghur folk music style. The music is divided into three parts.

In the first part, against the light and active piano accompaniment, the violin vividly expresses the beautiful scenery of Xinjiang's spring and people's joyful emotions using ornamentation, bow skipping, slurring and dexterous changes in rhythm.

The second part uses double-note playing techniques and syncopated rhythms that imitate Xinjiang tambourines to bring people into the festival dance scene, which is warm and unrestrained.

The third part reproduces the theme of the first part. The violin raises the climax through fast jumping bows and long vibrato in the high range, and ends the whole song in the climax.

The guzheng solo "Fighting Typhoon" depicts the scene of dock workers fighting against typhoon, showing their bravery and heroic spirit despite difficulties. The core of the music is the third section. Through the rich playing techniques of the guzheng, the scene of "fighting the typhoon" is vividly displayed, with intense emotions. In sharp contrast is the fourth paragraph, which uses a melodious and fresh melody to show the joy of the workers after the rain has passed and the weather has cleared, and the workers have defeated the typhoon.
