The guzheng solo "Fighting Typhoon" depicts the scene of dock workers fighting against typhoon, showing their bravery and heroic spirit despite difficulties. The core of the music is the third section. Through the rich playing techniques of the guzheng, the scene of "fighting the typhoon" is vividly displayed, with intense emotions. In sharp contrast is the fourth paragraph, which uses a melodious and fresh melody to show the joy of the workers after the rain has passed and the weather has cleared, and the workers have defeated the typhoon.
