How to use a pallet balance:

(1) Before using the pallet balance, please note:

① Each balance has its own weighing capacity, which is the maximum mass it can weigh. The mass of the object being measured cannot exceed the weighing capacity;

② Use tweezers when adding or subtracting weights to the right plate. Do not touch the weights with your hands, and do not get the weights wet or dirty;

③Wet objects and chemicals cannot be placed directly on the balance tray; (beakers or white paper should be used for indirect weighing)

④Measurement: Place the object to be weighed on the left pallet, use tweezers to pick up the weights in order from largest to smallest and place them on the right pallet;

When the beam cannot be balanced after adding the smallest weight, move the balance until the balance is balanced;

⑤ Reading: The mass of the weight in the tray plus the indication of the free weight is the mass of the object to be weighed. m object = m weight + m swim
