Activity 1: Observation experiment on whether salt and sand can be dissolved in water

Experimental equipment: beaker, water, glass rod, salt, sand

Experimental steps:

1. Observe salt and sand with the naked eye and describe their characteristics.

2. Put the salt and sand into two beakers filled with water, without stirring, and observe and compare.

3. After a while, stir gently with a glass rod and observe their changes.

Experimental notes:
