Other names of Impatiens: Nail Grass, Dioscorea, Goldilocks, and Golden Flower. Because its flower head, wings, tail, and feet are all upturned like a phoenix, it is also called Goldilocks.

Impatiens is an annual herbaceous flower of the family Impatiens, native to China and India. Impatiens flower stems are 40-100 cm tall.

Sowing is carried out from March to September, with April being the most suitable. Transplanting can be done at any time. The growing period is from April to September. After the seeds are sown in the pot, they usually sprout and grow leaves in about a week.

Impatiens like sunshine, are afraid of moisture, are heat-resistant but not cold-tolerant, and are suitable for growing in loose, fertile and slightly acidic soil.

Its flowers are shaped like butterflies and come in pink, red, purple, white and yellow, gold, etc., which are easy to change. Some varieties can have flowers of several colors on the same plant.

1. Selection
