a bit of: a bit, some, modifies uncountable nouns.

a bit: "a little bit", modifying an adjective or adverb.

1) a bit: can modify the comparative form, equivalent to a little. like:

She is slightly taller than me.

She’s a bit / a little taller than I.

2) not a bit: means "not at all". like:

I'm not tired at all.
