remind sb. of... means "to make... think of...".

remind sb. of... followed by a noun (phrase), pronoun or ing form of a verb.

eg: The picture reminds me of my school days.

remind sb.+that clause reminds someone...

eg: Remind me to write to my mother.

Remind me to write a letter to my mother.

I reminded him that he must go home before dark.

present /prɪ'zent/ vt. Present; give away

present sth.to sb. means "to present something to someone; to give something to someone". The noun form of present is presentation, which means "gift ceremony; introduction".

eg: I presented my picture to you.

I give you my photo.

Present can also be used as a noun, pronounced /'preznt/ meaning

"Gift; gift" is equivalent to gift.

eg: I bought a birthday present for my daughter.

I bought a birthday present for my daughter.

Present is used as an adjective, meaning "attending" and used as a postpositional attributive.

When it means "current, existing", it is used as a preposition attributive.

eg: Everybody present agreed to the plan.

Everyone in attendance agreed with that plan.

You can't use it in its present condition.
