1. What day is it today?

This sentence is mainly used to ask the day of the week. When answering, use "It is... today." or "Today is..."

[Note] The first letter of the word "day of the week" must be capitalized. Example: -What day is it today? What day is it today?

2. Would you like to come over for dinner tomorrow?

(1) Like in "Would you like...?" is often followed by a noun, pronoun and verb infinitive, which means "Do you want...?" It has a similar meaning to "Do you want...?" But the former has a more euphemistic tone and is used to politely make requests, solicit the other party's opinions, or make tactful suggestions.

Example: -Would you like to meet Emily and Carol?
