Happy or SadPPT, the third part: knowledge explanation

Knowledge point 1

How do you feel? how are you feeling?

This sentence is a special interrogative sentence guided by how, and its structure is: "How + auxiliary verb + subject + feel?". It is often used to ask about other people's physical conditions and feelings. The answer is usually "subject (+don't/doesn't) + feel + adjective." or "subject + be (+not) + adjective."

Examine the special questions leading to how and their answers.

eg: —How do you feel today?

This sentence is used to answer special questions about feelings. NOT here is used to express emphasis. The word happy means "happy, happy, happy".

eg: It is NOT a blackboard. It's a whiteboard.

What's wrong? What's the matter?

This sentence is often used to ask about other people's physical conditions, and is also a common phrase used by medical staff to ask about patients' conditions. Its synonymous sentence is "What's the matter?/What's the trouble?/What's one's trouble?". When picking up someone later, you need to use the preposition with.

eg: —What's wrong with you? What happened to you?

—I have a headache. I have a headache.

"What's wrong/the matter?" can also be used to ask what's wrong with something, or what's wrong with someone.
