"Qinyuan Spring·Snow" was written in February 1936. At that time, the Zunyi Conference established Comrade Mao Zedong's leadership position in the entire party. After Comrade Mao Zedong led the Long March troops to reach northern Shaanxi successfully, he led the entire party in a great struggle against Japanese imperialism. In Qingjian County, northern Shaanxi, Comrade Mao Zedong once climbed to a snow-covered plateau thousands of meters above sea level after a heavy snowfall to inspect the terrain and admire the "scenery of the North." Afterwards, he passionately wrote this magnificent poem about swallowing up mountains and rivers.
