Chang Xiangyu (1923-2004) was born in Gong County, Henan Province (now Gongyi City, Henan Province). CPC member. Summary of this lesson

The declaration form stated, “The name of this plane is ‘Xiangyu Opera Company’.”

The president at the time, Guo Moruo, personally inscribed the name of the aircraft. Soon, the fighter plane was soaring over the battlefield, strengthening the strength of the volunteers. Chang Xiangyu's righteous act of donating airplanes greatly shocked the Chinese people, and the whole country set off a patriotic upsurge to resist U.S. aggression, aid Korea, and donate money and materials.
