Zhazi Cave is located at the foothills of Gele Mountain in Chongqing City, 2.5 kilometers away from Baigongguan Prison. It was originally a small coal kiln for manual mining. It was named because there was more slag and less coal. In 1939, military agents forced the mine owners to death, occupied the coal mines and miners' houses, and turned them into prisons.

The prison is backed by mountains on three sides and faces a deep ditch in front.
