Wen Yiduo (1899-1946), a modern poet, scholar and strong democratic fighter. His original name was Wen Jiahua, a native of Xishui, Hubei Province. In July 1920, he published his first new poem, "West Bank", and he entered the Chinese poetry scene from then on.
In September 1923, his first collection of poems "Red Candle" was published.
