About the Author

Rosa Luxemburg (1871-1919), one of the founders and leaders of the German Communist Party, was a famous leader of the German Social Democratic Party and the Second International. She was born in a Polish Jewish businessman family and participated in the Polish revolutionary movement after graduating from high school. After the failure of the workers' uprising in Berlin, Germany, in January 1919, Luxemburg was brutally murdered because of the traitor's informant.
