In 1904, he entered Sendai Medical College to study medicine, hoping to transform the country through medicine. During this period, he met Mr. Fujino and established a deep friendship with him. At the same time, Lu Xun's thoughts also underwent a huge change. He abandoned medicine and followed literature, hoping to save the nation from peril by changing the national spirit. Twenty years later, Lu Xun left Beijing and came to Xiamen under the persecution of reactionary warlords and imperial literati. Stylistic knowledge

Modern prose refers to a literary genre alongside novels, poems, and dramas, and it can be understood in both broad and narrow senses.

Prose in a broad sense refers to all literary prose articles other than poetry, novels, and dramas. In addition to prose that is mainly about discussion and lyricism, it also includes communication, reportage, essays, memoirs, biographies and other genres. With the development of the writing discipline, many genres have established themselves, and the scope of prose has become increasingly narrow.

Prose in the narrow sense refers to literary prose, which is a literary style that mainly focuses on narrative or lyricism, draws on a wide range of materials, has flexible writing techniques, is short in length, and has both emotional and emotional content.

The characteristics of prose include: strong documentary nature, extensive material collection, flexibility of form, rich poetic flavor, and beautiful language.

His character is great in my eyes and heart, although his name is not known to many people.

Why is he “great in my sight and in my heart”?

Mr. Fujino has a noble character, especially because he has no national prejudice - his enthusiastic expectations for "me", "In a small way, it is for China; in a big way, it is for academics." Take the "Anonymous Letter" and " Judging from the two incidents of "watching movies", these encounters seriously damaged "my" self-esteem. In this case, Mr. Fujino's help is real, just for academic purposes, hoping that China will have new medical skills.

Mr. Fujino’s PPT, Part 5: In-depth exploration

1. The title of the article is "Mr. Fujino", but more than half of the space does not write about Mr. Fujino directly, but about "Qing students studying abroad" enjoying cherry blossoms and learning to dance, and about Nippori and Mito on the way from Tokyo to Sendai. He wrote about the preferential treatment given to him by the staff of Sendai Medical College, and also wrote about the provocations and movie-watching incidents of Japan's "patriotic youth". How do these things relate to writing about Mr. Fujino?

The article states that "Qing students studying abroad" enjoyed cherry blossoms and learned dancing as the reason why the author left the news and went to Sendai, where he got to know Mr. Fujino. Nippori and Mito, who wrote about the path, express the author's concern for the country and are the author's main motivation for studying medicine. The article about the preferential treatment given to him by the staff of Sendai Medical College serves as a positive foil for the article below about Mr. Fujino. Writing about the provocations of Japan's "patriotic youth" is a negative foil for writing about Mr. Fujino. In short, all of these are closely related to highlighting Mr. Fujino's noble qualities of integrity, enthusiasm and lack of narrow national prejudice.

2. How does this article express the author’s patriotism?

The author first started writing about Tokyo, feeling that "Tokyo is nothing more than this", and then described the vulgar life of "Qing students studying abroad" in a satirical way, reflecting the author's eagerness to seek revolutionary truth; the author recalled "Nippori" and The two names "Mito" express the author's concern for the country and the people; the description of Mr. Fujino's valuable qualities is intertwined with blame for himself and gratitude to the teacher, cleverly highlighting the author's hard work for the motherland. The spirit of learning; the author was stimulated by watching the movie and decided to abandon medicine and pursue literature, with the purpose of finding a way to save the country. In short, the process of the author getting to know, getting along with, and parting with Mr. Fujino is exactly the process of the continuous development of his patriotism.

Mr. Fujino’s PPT, Part 6: Summary of the main theme
