Understand paragraph 3:
Think about it. How many sentences are there in a paragraph? What does it tell us?
There are five sentences in total, telling us that there are sounds under the sea.
The third natural paragraph:
Is there no sound at all under the sea? no. Animals at the bottom of the sea are often whispering. When you listen with a hydrophone, you can hear various sounds: some buzz like bees, some chirp like birds, some bark like puppies, and some seem to be snoring... They It makes one sound when eating, another sound when walking, and an alarm when in danger.
(1) The first three sentences, think about what you know from these three sentences.
(2) Combine the sentences to understand "whether" and "whisper".
① How can you say this sentence by replacing "whether" with another word without changing the meaning of the original sentence?

(7) What can we tell about the scenery of the seabed from so many sounds? (the scenery is strange)
Guidance: In this natural paragraph, the first three sentences tell us that there are sounds at the bottom of the sea, but we don’t know what the sounds are. This is written in summary; only after reading the last two sentences do we know what the sounds at the bottom of the sea are like. This is When writing specifically, summarize first and then be specific. This is how sentences are connected.
Connect with paragraphs 2 and 3 and think:
