The Xisha Islands are one of the four major archipelagos (Dongsha Islands, Xisha Islands, Zhongsha Islands, and Nansha Islands) among the South China Sea Islands in my country. They belong to Guangdong Province and are about 330 kilometers southeast of Hainan Island. The main islands include Yongxing Island, Coral Island, Zhongjian Island, etc. Yongxing Island is the largest, mostly oval coral islands and reefs. It is rich in tropical resources, rich in fish, birds, sea cucumbers, turtles, etc. Although the South China Sea Islands are small in area, their geographical location is very important. They are located at the transportation chokepoint of the Pacific Ocean and are my country's coastal defense outposts.
