Creative background

The orchestral overture "Ode to the Red Flag" was born in the mid-1960s, and it has been more than 40 years since its creation and premiere.

The "Shanghai Spring" played a key role in the publication of "Ode to the Red Flag". Since the "Shanghai Spring" was held in 1960, new talents and new works have emerged in large numbers, and it has become a music event with great influence at home and abroad.

When the first five-star red flag was raised over Tiananmen Square on October 1, 1949, and when Chairman Mao solemnly declared to the world that "the Central People's Government of the People's Republic of China has been established," the national anthem was blared and gun salutes were fired in Tiananmen Square. , the crowd is like a tide, the red flag is like a sea, people are extremely excited, extremely happy, and extremely proud.

The feeling of being liberated from the darkness cannot be expressed in words. The blood-stained red flag of battle and the red flag of victory in Tiananmen formed a great and noble image in our minds.

He has successively served as the leader of the Shanghai Film Orchestra and the director of the Music Creation Office of Shanghai Film Corporation. He is the fourth and fifth director of the Chinese Musicians Association.

He has composed music for nearly forty feature films, including "Railway Guerrillas", "Home", "Red Sun", "Thunderstorm", and more than ten documentaries. 4. The bass sounded, like the white terror of the dark ages, like a farewell, sad and lingering. Finally, the trumpet came to mind, urging the revolutionaries to go on their way.

5. Theme 1 is reproduced in a symphony style, describing a vigorous and successive war scene, and finally the victory scene of the red flag being planted on the top of the mountain and the welcome scene along the road, twice.
