Living community PPT, part 2: analysis of example questions
The following is a schematic diagram of a living area.
(1) What is the area of this living area?
(2) The green space area accounts for 32% of the entire community area. What is the green space area in the community?
(3) Each building in the community has 6 floors. Buildings 1-6 have 5 units, and buildings 7-9 have 6 units. There are 2 houses on each floor in a unit. How many houses are there in the community?
(4) The average area of each housing unit is 118 square meters. How many square meters is the housing area in this community?
The musical fountain at the entrance of the community is as shown below.
(1) What is the floor area of this fountain?
(2) What is the approximate volume of the fountain pool in cubic meters? (Round to one decimal place)
(3) After normal use, the water in the fountain pool only needs to account for 2/5 of the pool depth. How many cubic meters of water are actually needed?
(4) When the fountain is open, 1/20 of the water in the pool will be lost every day. How much water should be added to the pool every day to keep the water in normal condition?
(5) Plan to use the following rectangular tiles to paste the inner and outer walls of the fountain pool, and use square tiles to paste the floor and wall top of the fountain pool. Do the math: Approximately how many tiles are needed?

(2) If a garbage truck can carry 2.5 cubic meters of garbage at a time, how many trucks will be needed to transport the garbage generated in this community in one month? What about 1 year?

(1) If each family of your class throws away 1.5 buckets of garbage every day, how much trash does the whole class throw away in one day? What about 1 month or 1 year?
(2) Estimate the approximate volume of a classroom in cubic meters. If all the garbage from the entire class's homes for a year were piled up in the classroom, approximately how many classrooms would it take up?
(3) There are 980 students in Honghong’s school. How many classrooms will be occupied by the garbage from these classmates’ homes in one year?
