Description
"Bian Que Meets Duke Huan of Cai" PPT
Part 1: Introduction to the author
Han Fei
Han Fei (about 280 BC - 233 BC) was originally a Korean noble. "Historical Records" says that he "had a stutter and could not speak, but he was good at writing books". He and Li Si came from the same sect of Xun Kuang, and Li Si thought he was inferior to him. Seeing that South Korea's power was weakening day by day, Han Fei once suggested reforms to the King of Han to strengthen the country, but was not adopted. Later, he worked hard to write a book and spread it to Qin State. He was appreciated by Qin Shihuang, who sent troops to attack Han and demanded Han Fei. The king of Han sent Han Fei as an envoy to Qin, and he was left in Qin without being used. He was jealous and slandered by Li Si and Yao Jia. He was punished by the officials and died in prison.
