About the Author:
Qianhetan's original name was Qianfu. Qian Fu was born in the fifth year of Tianshun, Emperor Yingzong of Ming Dynasty, and died in the seventeenth year of Hongzhi, Emperor Xiaozong of Ming Dynasty, at the age of forty-four. He has been very talented and talented since he was a child, and he was able to compose at the age of seven. He became a famous scholar when he was young. In the 22nd year of Chenghua (1486), he was elected. In the third year of Hongzhi (1490), he got the first place in Jinshi (the number one scholar). He wrote more than 3,000 words on the policy of the imperial court. He worked as a editor at the Hanlin Academy, devoted himself to poetry and essays, and was highly regarded in the world. His talent was extraordinary, he could write thousands of words, and his words were unparalleled. He also wrote eight-part essays, and Wang Fu was as famous as Wang Hao, and he was called "the two great masters of Qian and Wang". He is outspoken by nature and likes to drink. Whenever he gets drunk, he often speaks hurtful words, which makes him unpopular with his peers and leads to slander. In the sixth year of Hongzhi (1493), he took the same examination as the imperial examination. Afterwards, he excused himself from illness and returned home, no longer serving as an official.
As soon as the poem became famous, there were many requests from all over the world. They often entertained the guests at banquets, chatted and laughed happily, and waved to the guests, so that everyone got what they asked for and left. Liu Wan, the prefect of Songjiang, was not polite to Luo Luo, and Liu Wan held a grudge. Later, Liu Wan was falsely accused. After Qian Fu heard the news, he rushed to Wumen (now Suzhou) to defend Liu Wan and he was relieved. Liu Wan was deeply grateful and wanted to get close to him, but Qian Fu ignored him as always. When Qian Fu passed away, Liu Wan mourned, financed the construction of the tomb, and asked Shen Yue to write a career statement and Gu Qing to write a biography.
He is the author of "Hetan Collection" (6 volumes plus 1 volume of "Hetan Yiwen"), "Shangshu Congshuo", etc. There is a collection of "The Correct Theory of Famous Virtues of the Tang and Song Dynasties" (10 volumes) handed down to the world.
