Description
"Drinking" PPT courseware 4
Tao Yuanming (365-427):
A famous poet in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and the first pastoral poet in my country. His name was Qian, his courtesy name was Yuanliang, he was known as Mr. Jingjie in the world, and he called himself Mr. Wuliu. He was a native of Chaisang, Xunyang (now Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province). Born into a declining gentry family. His life experience can be divided into three stages.
1. The period of living at home before the age of twenty-nine. When he was young and middle-aged, he had the ideal of helping the common people and the ambition of making great achievements.
2. From the age of twenty-nine to forty-one, there is either official or reclusive period. At the age of twenty-nine, he took up the post of Jiangzhou Jijiuer, and soon resigned and went into seclusion. Later, he served as a minor official such as Zhenjun Jianjun and Pengze County Magistrate. Dissatisfied with the political corruption and darkness of the officialdom, and unwilling to surrender his ambition and humiliate himself to meet the power and responsibilities, he abandoned his official position and returned to his fields in 405 at the age of forty-one. Since then, he has lived a secluded life of "working hard to farm and finance his own life".
Read it and experience the emotions contained in the poem.
Calm, leisurely and leisurely
Be content with seclusion, detachment, and aloofness
Tranquility, leisure, tranquility
High-minded and indifferent to fame and wealth
Keep yourself clean and take care of yourself, be content with whatever comes your way
The mood of wanting nothing from life

Explain the following verses and explain your understanding. There is a true meaning in this, but I have forgotten to explain it.
The pastoral life in this situation contains the true meaning of life. I want to identify it, but I forget what language to use to express it. In fact, what the author really means is: Why bother to identify and express the true meaning of life in words?
practise:
1. Since we live in an environment where people come and go, why is there “no noise of cars and horses”?
The "noise of carriages and horses" here does not refer to the noise made by the carriages and horses of ordinary people coming and going to work, but should refer to the "interactions between the upper class people". "There is no noise of carriages and horses" means that the author is alienated from Ben Zhu. For the people in the secular world, they look down upon power, status, wealth, honor and the like.
2. In some versions of "Seeing Nanshan leisurely", the word "jian" is "wang". Can you tell me the pros and cons of the two versions?
"See" means to look at something casually, while "looking" means to stare at something intentionally. This means that "looking" is conscious gaze, and "seeing" is unconscious glimpse. Using "see" is in line with the author's "leisurely" mood, while using "wang" lacks the "leisurely" mood. So Su Dongpo also said: If it is "looking", the poem will become uninteresting.
Ask the students to think about it, what is the idea of this poem? (What is the purpose of this poem?)
Answer: Through the description of the scenery in front of him, it illustrates the principle of "the mind is far away and is biased", and expresses the author's leisurely and comfortable feeling and rich spiritual life that he finds pleasure in the natural scenery.
(Write about how the poet realizes the true meaning of life from nature and obtains a leisurely and tranquil state of mind.)
