Today, my father and I, along with many teachers and children, took a bus to Anji Bamboo Expo Park to visit our country’s national treasure, the giant panda.

Giant pandas are mainly distributed in Sichuan, Gansu, and Shaanxi regions of my country. Giant pandas mainly eat young bamboo, bamboo shoots, corn stalks, etc.

We finally walked along the winding path in the park to the Panda Pavilion. First of all, what comes into view is a naive panda lying in an artificial environment. Standing outside the fence, at a glance, the panda has a chubby body, a short tail, and its fur is as smooth as black satin. The head and body are white, with a pair of furry black ears on the head. The two round black eye sockets look like wearing a pair of big sunglasses.

I heard from my father that pandas were very lively and active when they were young, climbing up and down all day long, but they become very lazy when they grow up. He would often hold his head with his paws and fall asleep soundly. When he was hungry, he would move his chubby body to look for something to eat.

Panda is a first-level protected animal in my country. It is only found in China and its number is very small. I hope that they will breed more and more under the protection of humans, so that children all over the world can play with giant pandas up close and see how cute they are like me.
