Background information

In order to destroy the alliance between Chu and Qi, Qin sent an envoy Zhang Yi to lobby the king of Chu, pretending that Qin would trade with Chu in a land of 600 miles, on the condition that Chu and Qi break off diplomatic relations. Qu Yuan, the left disciple, saw through the tiger and wolf heart of the Qin State. From the perspective of safeguarding the independence of the Chu State and the interests of the people of the Six Kingdoms of Guandong, he urged the King of Chu to insist on uniting Qi to resist Qin. Zhang Yi's plot was thwarted and he instead colluded with Queen Nan, the Queen of Chu's favorite.

The Queen of the South, Zheng Xiu, was a vicious and selfish woman. The eldest son of the King of Chu was being held hostage in the Qin State. In order to maintain her favor, the Queen of the South accepted Zhang Yi's treacherous plan to drive a wedge between the King of Chu and Qu Yuan, destroy the Chu-Qi alliance, and in exchange for Qin's opposition to the childish Zi Lan. With the support of the heir to the throne, the two jointly set up a conspiracy to "set up" the palace.

In the name of helping to guide "Nine Songs", Queen Nan deceived Qu Yuan into the palace and praised Qu Yuan to his face: "He has good articles, high morals, talents, and integrity." When he saw King Chu return to the palace, he Pretending that she had a headache, she fell into Qu Yuan's arms and falsely accused Qu Yuan of molesting her.

The fatuous and violent king of Chu did not distinguish the truth from the false, so he dismissed Qu Yuan from his official position as a disciple and expelled him from the palace on the charge of "harlotry in the palace". He also announced that he would break off diplomatic relations with Qi and reconcile with Qin.

Qu Yuan was filled with grief and anger and warned the King of Chu: "You must think more about the people of Chu and the people of China." He scolded Queen Nan: "It's not me you've framed, but our entire Chu State!" "It's our entire Chi County China!"

Qu Yuan was demoted and rumors spread. The shameless scholar Song Yu betrayed Qu Yuan and joined the aristocratic group. Qu Yuan ran away angrily. On the way, he met the King of Chu, Queen Nan, and Zhang Yi. He couldn't control his feelings. He scolded Zhang Yi and the Queen angrily. The King of Chu was furious and ordered Qu Yuan to be imprisoned in Donghuang Taiyi Temple. Then, there is the story of this article.
