About the Author
Han Yu, a writer and philosopher in the Tang Dynasty. The courtesy name is Tuizhi, a native of Heyang, known as Han Changli in the world. He was orphaned at an early age and was raised by his sister-in-law. Study hard on your own. Jinshi of Zhenyuan, he was appointed as the supervisory censor, and was demoted to the order of Yangshan due to his affairs. After being pardoned, he served as Doctor of the Imperial College, Minister of Justice, etc. He was demoted to the governor of Chaozhou because he dissuaded Xianzong from welcoming the Buddha's bones. In terms of literature, he advocated prose style. Together with Liu Zongyuan, he was an advocate of the ancient prose movement and was listed as the first of the eight great writers of the Tang and Song Dynasties.
