32 parts of 32/1000 can be written as 0.032 meters. 0.032 is read as: zero point zero three two.

Divide a whole into 10 parts, 100 parts, 1000 parts... Such one or more parts can be expressed as a fraction with a denominator of 10, 100, 1000... or as a decimal.
