Studio Najbrt created a font sign for the corner wall of the "Prague Art Museum". Everyone can clearly see the logo from different angles.
Najibout Graphic Studio positioned the font style of the art museum as "Kunst", and typographer Marek Pistora designed "Kunst" as an updated version of Tschichold's original font. The Knust font was inspired by the sketches published by the typography genius Jan Tschichold in 1930. Tschichold was influenced by the Bauhaus and had early modernist views. The purpose of creating the font was to serve professionals and those who were just beginning to explore this field. This is also In line with the founding purpose of the Prague Art Museum. During the process of developing the logo design, the idea of typing it at the corner of the Prague Art Museum building also came up.
Such an arrangement not only makes the logo clearly visible from different angles, but also becomes a natural part of the specific form of the building. Therefore, the application of the font on the facade has undergone many modifications and tests, and the central strokes of the Kunst font have been strengthened as necessary. The studio believes that "the resulting metal inscription is definitely our greatest realization of typography in public space." !".
