Tibetan people have always attached great importance to the art of calligraphy. Tibetan calligraphy is famous for its wide variety of fonts. As the fastest practical calligraphy style for writing, the graceful and smooth Chieftain style is widely used in areas where Tibetan culture is popular. According to the traditional Tibetan subject classification, calligraphy belongs to a small branch of Gong Qiao Ming in the Great Five Ming Dynasties. Tibetan calligraphy has three styles: real, running and cursive. The real calligraphy is used for dry engraving, the running script is used for official documents and other more solemn handwritten texts, and the cursive script is used for ordinary records and letters. Tibetan calligraphy is written with a hard pen. The pens are mostly made of bamboo, but there are also pens made of iron. The colorful Tibetan calligraphy not only has high artistic value, but also contains rich cultural connotations, providing a broad space for the research of Tibetan literature, philosophy, medicine, music, painting, etc.
