To edit audio and set play and pause timings in PPT, you can follow the steps below:
First, make sure the audio file is saved on your computer.
Next, in the WPS PPT, click the "Insert" menu and select "Embed Audio".
Select audio from local files, insert into PPT, and adjust the player's position by dragging.
Click the "Crop Audio" button to trim the audio file as needed.
To set the audio to play only on a specific slide, select "Play on current page" so that the audio will automatically stop when switching to the next page.
If you want the audio to play on several consecutive slides, you can select "Play across slides" in "Audio Tools" and specify the slide page to play.
After setting up, click the play button in slide show mode to start playing audio.
If you want to set the audio as background music for the entire slide show, you can use the "Set as background music" option. This way, the audio loops and won't be interrupted when the slide switches, until you press the ESC key to exit show mode.
Also, when inserting audio, you can choose to embed or link to. "Embedding" refers to saving the audio file directly in the PPT file, so that the audio will not be lost even if it is played on different computers. "Link to" is to establish a link to the location of the audio file. If the playback environment changes, you may encounter link failure problems.
The "Audio" option allows you to add background music to the current page, while "Background Music" applies to the entire PPT.
If you are a rice shell member, you can also choose more background music through the "rice shell audio center" and insert it directly into PPT.
