In Word document layout, section breaks and page breaks are very important. What is the difference between them?
Let me introduce page breaks to you first.
￭ When the document content fills one page, an automatic page break will be inserted into the document to start a new page.
If you need to break pages at a specific location, you need to insert page breaks manually.
Click "Insert"-"Page".
The page break is used to divide the page into two pages.
So what does the section break do?
￭ In the "Chapter" tab, click "Chapter Navigation".
It can be seen that after inserting paging, the document is in the same section.
￭ If you want to set the first page to be displayed vertically and the second page to be displayed horizontally.
Select the second page to set the paper orientation, and find that the content of the two pages will be modified simultaneously.
In other words, inserting page breaks in the document cannot independently set up the page.
This is where section breaks are used.
￭ First, click the "Chapter" tab - "Add Section" and select "Next Page Section Break".
￭ In "Chapter Navigation", select the chapter where you want to set the page landscape, and set the "Paper Orientation" to landscape.
Now you can see that there are different paper directions in a document.
Use section breaks to divide the document into different modules, making it easier for us to set up separate pages for each module.
