In order to protect the document from being modified and can only be viewed, we can use the restricted editing function. Taking this document as an example, click the "Review" tab - "Restrict Editing" button. In the "Restrict Editing" interface on the right, we can restrict the format of the selected style. To prevent the style from being modified, check "Restrict formatting to selected styles". Click the "Settings" button to enter the "Restriction Format Settings" interface. In addition, we can also set the protection method of the document and check "Set the protection method of the document". Taking "read-only" as an example, we set it to "read-only". Enable protection and set a password so that when you send the file to others, they can only view the content of the document but cannot edit it. If we no longer want to protect it later, we can click "Stop Protection" on the right. Then enter the password you set previously and click OK to cancel protection.
