In the personnel recruitment process, we often need to count the number of people interviewed.

For example, we can use the "Interview Statistics Table" to count the number of people participating in interviews.

First, we position the cursor to cell B24 of the worksheet. Then, insert the COUNTIF function in Excel.

The COUNTIF function is mainly used to count the number of non-empty cells that meet specific conditions.

Enter "F:F" in the "Area" box and "Yes" in the "Condition" box, so that you can count the number of people who received the interview notice.

Next, if we want to determine whether the applicant is qualified based on a score, we can use the IF function to achieve this.

Place the cursor in cell I3 and click to insert the IF function.

Enter "H3>=6" in the "Test Condition" box, and enter "Qualified" and "Unqualified" in the "True Value" and "False Value" boxes respectively.

Please note that the entered text must be enclosed in double quotes in English.

After confirmation, the IF function will give the judgment result. Then, we can place the cursor in the lower right corner of cell I3, and when the cursor turns into a cross, pull down to fill in other formulas.

In this way, the interview results can be easily converted into text form.
