Create a shortcut (jump) to open a file stored on a network server, intranet or Internet.
Intranet: A network within an organization that uses Internet technologies (such as HTTP or FTP protocols). By using hyperlinks, you can Browse objects, documents, web pages, and other targeted content.
When you click the cell where the HYPERLINK function is located, WPS Sheet will open the linked file or jump to the specified worksheet cell.
Syntax: HYPERLINK(link_location, friendly_name)
Link_location is the name or full path of the file to be opened. It can be a local hard disk, UNC path or URL path.
Link_location can be a text string enclosed in quotes, or a cell containing a link to a text string. If the jump specified in link_location does not exist or is not accessible, an error message will appear when the cell is clicked.
Friendly_name is the jump text value or numeric value displayed in the cell. The contents of the cell are blue and underlined. If Friendly_name is omitted, the cell displays link_location as jump text. Friendly_name can be a numerical value, a text string, a name, or a cell containing jump text or a numerical value. If Friendly_name returns an error value (for example, #VALUE!), the cell displays the error value in place of the jump text.
