Returns the maximum value in the parameter list. Text values and logical values such as TRUE and FALSE are also evaluated as numbers.
Grammar
MAXA(value1,value2,...)
Value1, value2,... are 1 to 30 parameters from which the maximum value needs to be found.
Description
• Parameters can be numbers, blank cells, logical values, or text expressions of numbers. If the parameter is an incorrect value, an error will be generated.
If you cannot include text or logical values in your calculation, use the MAX worksheet function instead.
• If the argument is an array or reference, only the values in the array or reference are used. Blank cells and text values in arrays or references are ignored.
• Arguments containing TRUE are evaluated as 1; arguments containing text or FALSE are evaluated as 0.
• If the argument contains no value, function MAXA returns 0.
