RANDARRAY is a function that returns an array randomly.
The biggest difference between it and the RAND function is that the former can randomly return an array, while the RAND function can randomly return a single number.
RANDARRY function consists of five parameters: the number of rows, the number of columns, the minimum number, the maximum number, and an integer. Take the last four digits of a phone number that need to be randomly generated as an example.
￭First select the area where the array needs to be added, and then enter the formula =RANDARRAY (5,4,0,9,true) in the cell to indicate randomization within the range of 4 rows and 5 columns. Generate an integer in the range of 0~9, and finally use the key combination "Ctrl+Shift+Enter" to confirm. If you need to change the random array, just refresh with the F9 key.
￭ Please note that WPS Office does not currently support dynamic arrays, so you must use the "Ctrl+Shift+Enter" keys to quickly set it to array form. Other methods will only return a single value.
