Returns the tangent of the given angle.
Syntax
TAN (number)
Number is the angle required to be tangent , expressed in radians.
Description
If If the argument is in degrees, you can multiply it by PI()/180 or use the RADIANS function to convert it to radians.
When we perform mathematical operations, we often encounter Find the tangent of an angle.
Using the TAN function in WPS can help us quickly find the tangent value of a given angle.
Take this form as an example and tell you the specific steps of the operation.

■ Select cell B2, click Insert Function, find and select the TAN function in the search box, and click OK.
A dialog box will pop up with one parameter.
The numerical value refers to the value for which the tangent is required.
If the unit of the parameter is radians, it can be calculated directly.
If the unit of the parameter is an angle, multiply it by PI()/180 and convert it into radians before calculation.
