The MAXIFS function returns the maximum value in a set of cells specified by a given condition or criterion.
Grammar
MAXIFS(max_range, criteria_range1, criteria1, [criteria_range2, criteria2], ...)
max_range (required) Determines the actual range of cells with the maximum value.
criteria_range1 (required) is a set of cells to be calculated using conditions
criteria1 (required) A criterion in a form that defines which cells will be evaluated as the maximum value for a number, expression, or text.
The same set of standards applies to the MINIFS, SUMIFS and AVERAGEIFS functions
criteria_range2,criteria2,... (optional) Additional ranges and their associated conditions. You can enter up to 126 range/criteria pairs.
Description
max_range and criteria_rangeN parameters must be the same size and shape, otherwise these functions return a #VALUE! error.
