Returns the factorial of a number. The factorial of a number is equal to 1*2*3*…* the number.
Syntax
FACT(number)
Number The non-negative number whose factorial is to be calculated. If the input Number is not an integer, it is truncated.
The main function of the FACT function is to calculate the factorial of a number.
The factorial of a positive integer n = the product of positive integers less than and equal to the number. That is, the factorial of n is equal to 1*2*3*...n.
It should be noted that the factorial of 0 is 1.

￭ Select cell B2 and click Insert Function.
Find and select the FACT function in the search box and click OK.
A dialog box will pop up with one parameter.

Position the cursor to the lower right corner of cell B2 and pull down to fill the cell when it is in the shape of + to perform batch calculations.
You can see that the factorial result of 4.8 is the same as 4. This is because the decimal factorial calculation will be truncated, and the factorial of 0 is by definition 1.
