Returns a list of data or a subtotal in the database. Generally, you can easily create a subtotal with subtotals using the Subtotals command on the Data menu
General data list. Once a subtotal is created, the data list can be modified by editing the SUBTOTAL function.
Syntax
SUBTOTAL (function_num,ref1,ref2,...)

￭SUBTOTAL function is suitable for data columns or vertical area. Does not apply to data rows or horizontal areas.
