  • Case

Returns a number that is the smallest integer such that the function value of the cumulative binomial distribution is greater than or equal to the critical value.

Grammar

BINOM.INV(trials,probability_s,alpha)

The BINOM.INV function syntax has the following parameters:

Trials Required. Number of Bernoulli trials.

Probability_s    Required. The probability of success in a trial.

Alpha Required. critical value.

Description

If any argument is nonnumeric, BINOM.INV returns the #VALUE! error value.

If trials is not an integer, it will be truncated.

If trials < 0, BINOM.INV returns the #NUM! error value.

If probability_s < 0 or probability_s > 1, BINOM.INV returns the #NUM! error value.

If alpha < 0 or alpha > 1, BINOM.INV returns the #NUM! error value.
