Red scarf

Meaning

The red scarf is the symbol of the Young Pioneers. It represents the corner of the red flag, dyed with the blood of revolutionary martyrs. Every team member should wear it and cherish it to add new honors to it.

Specifications and materials

Red scarves are divided into two sizes: small and large, respectively:

Small size: hem length 100 cm, waist length 60 cm.

Large size: base length 120 cm, waist length 72 cm.

The color of the red scarf is national flag red and can be made of cloth, silk, satin and other materials according to standards.

Wear and use

1. The Young Pioneers organization should educate team members to take good care of the red scarf, keep it clean and flat, and dress neatly when wearing it.

2. Team members in lower and middle grades of primary school wear small red scarves, while team members in upper primary school and junior high schools wear large red scarves. Taller players in lower primary school and middle grades can wear large red scarves. Young Pioneers should treasure their red scarves and team badges when they leave the team.

3. Young Pioneers must wear a red scarf when participating in Young Pioneer rallies and activities inside and outside the school, as well as important ceremonial activities such as flag-raising ceremonies, opening ceremonies, and graduation ceremonies. You do not need to wear a red scarf when participating in sports activities, productive labor or resting at home. When the weather is hot, you may not wear the red scarf temporarily, but you should wear the team badge.

4. Young Pioneers counselors should wear large red scarves when participating in Young Pioneers gatherings and activities. When the Young Pioneers activities invite relevant leaders, guests and other adults to participate, the leaders and guests will wear large red scarves.

5. The red scarf and its name may not be used for trademarks, commercial advertisements or commercial activities.

6． Young Pioneer organizations, Young Pioneers, and Young Pioneer counselors at all levels are not allowed to purchase or use red scarves that do not comply with regulations.

How to wear

1. Drape the red scarf over your shoulders, align the obtuse angle with your spine, place the right corner under the left corner, and cross the two corners;

2. Pull the right corner in front of the left corner to the right without moving the left corner;

3. The right corner is pulled out through the gap where the left and right corners intersect, and the right corner goes exactly around the left corner;

4. Pull the right corner out of this circle and tighten.

Team flag

Meaning and Style

The team flag is the symbol of the Young Pioneers organization. The red flag with a five-pointed star and a torch is the flag of the Young Pioneers. The five-pointed star represents the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the torch symbolizes light, and the red flag symbolizes the victory of the revolution.

Specifications and materials

The team flag refers to the major and squadron flags. The color of the team flag is national flag red and can be made of cloth, silk, satin and other materials according to standards.

The brigade flag is 120 cm long and 90 cm high. In the center of the flag is a five-pointed star and a torch. The five-pointed star is yellow and the torch is outlined by yellow lines.

The squadron flag is 80 cm long and 60 cm high. Cut off an isosceles triangle with a height of 20 cm and a base width of 60 cm from the right end to form a triangular gap. The five-pointed star and the torch are in the center of a square with a side length of 60 cm.

Use

1. The flags of the brigades and squadrons are the symbols of the brigades and squadrons of the Young Pioneers and are used under the following circumstances:

(1) When the Young Pioneers organization carries out collective activities;

(2) When the Young Pioneers (middle) team holds the joining ceremony; when the junior high school Young Pioneers team holds the leaving ceremony;

(3) When the Young Pioneers brigade or squadron is established;

(4) When the Young Pioneers organization holds an important meeting.

Except for the above circumstances, the use of the team flag and its patterns must be approved by the Youth Working Committee at or above the county level.

2. Young Pioneers must love the team flag and salute the team when raising or removing the flag at Young Pioneers gatherings or activities. One Young Pioneer flag bearer and at least two Young Pioneer flag bearers form a flag bearer combination. The flag bearer's right hand holds the lower part of the flagpole close to the waist, and his left hand straightens and holds the middle and upper part of the flagpole. The team flag is tilted at an angle of about 45 degrees. At the flag-raising ceremony, the Young Pioneers salute and the flag bearer must hold the flag and salute.

3. The team flag should be displayed in the team room and should not be hung.

4. The team flag and its designs may not be used for trademarks, commercial advertising or commercial activities.

5. Young Pioneer organizations at all levels are not allowed to use team flags that are damaged, contaminated, faded or do not comply with production regulations.

Team logo

The length-to-height ratio of the team emblem is 1.8:2.2. The team emblem is used in different occasions and can be made in equal proportions according to actual needs.

Style

The five-pointed star plus a torch and a red ribbon with "Young Pioneers of China" written on it form the Young Pioneers team emblem. The five-pointed star, the five words "Chinese Young Pioneers" and the handle of the torch are in gold, the ribbon and the flame of the torch are in true red, the flame and ribbon are edged in gold, and the font of "Chinese Young Pioneers" is in bold.

Use

1. The team emblem is the symbol of the Young Pioneers organization and its scope of use is:

(1) The team emblem should be displayed on important occasions such as the Young Pioneers’ congresses at all levels;

(2) The team emblem or team emblem pattern should be hung in the Young Pioneers team room, squadron corner and other iconic positions of the Young Pioneers;

(3) The team emblem or team emblem pattern can be hung in the meeting rooms of the Youth League Committee and Youth Working Committee;

(4) The team emblem or team emblem pattern can be hung on foreign affairs occasions related to the Young Pioneers;

(5) The team emblem can be printed on certificates, flags, medals, certificates and other honorary documents and certificates issued by organizations at all levels of the Young Pioneers;

(6) The team emblem can be used in the Young Pioneers’ newspapers, periodicals, publications, new media cultural products, and websites.

Badge

The team logo can be made into a badge for the team members to wear. The specifications of the badge are 2.2 cm high and 1.8 cm wide. In order to ensure the safety of team members when wearing, the badge must be made into a snap-on type or magnet type.

Team committee (captain) logo

Style

Brigade, squadron committee members and squad leaders must wear the team committee (captain) logo.

The team committee (captain) logo consists of a white background and a red bar. The white background is 7 cm high and 6 cm wide. The red bar is 4 cm long and 1 cm wide. The brigade committee logo has three red bars in the middle, the squadron committee logo has two red bars in the middle, and the squad leader logo has one red bar in the middle. The red bars are 1 cm apart and 1 cm apart from the left and right edges of the white background. The brigade committee logo has a space of 1 cm above and below it, the squadron committee logo has a space of 2 cm above and below it, and the squad leader logo has a space of 3 cm above and below.

The team committee (captain) logo can be made of cloth, plastic and other materials.

Wear and use

1. Brigade, squadron committee members and squad leaders must wear a red scarf and the team committee (captain) logo on their left arm.

2. Young Pioneers organizations at all levels are not allowed to use irregular team committee (captain) logos that do not comply with regulations.
