At work, we often use the "sort" function to sort data in tables.

So how to sort multiple columns of data in the table at the same time?

￭Take this transcript as an example, if we want to sort Chinese and total scores.

First select the data area and click Data-Sort on the upper menu bar.

In the pop-up "Sort" dialog box, set the conditions.

For example, set the main keyword to "total score" and the order to "descending order."

Click Add Condition, set the secondary keyword to "Language" and the order to "Descending".

In other words, the data sorting is based on "total score" and "Chinese" as the second priority.

Here we can see that when the total scores are the same, they will be sorted according to the level of Chinese scores.
