Returns the complete number of working days between parameters start_date and end_date. Working days exclude weekends and specially designated holidays.
You can use the function NETWORKDAYS to calculate an employee's accrued compensation based on the number of days they worked during a specific period.
Grammar
NETWORKDAYS(start_date,end_date,holidays)
Key points You should use the DATE function to enter dates, or enter dates as the result of other formulas or functions.
For example, use the function DATE(2008,5,23) to enter May 23, 2008. Problems arise if the date is entered as text.
Start_date is a date representing the start date.
End_date is the end date.

Theserial number is 39448 because it is 39448 days from December 31, 1899.
• If any argument is an invalid date value, the NETWORKDAYS function returns the #VALUE! error value.
