Returns the serial number of the date represented by date_text. The main function of the function DATEVALUE is to convert a date represented as text into a serial number.

Syntax
DATEVALUE(date_text)
Date_text Text representing a date in WPStabular date format.

For example, 2008-1-30 or 30-Jan-08 is quoted text that represents a date.

When using theWPS form, date_text must represent December 31, 1899 to December 31, 9999 A date between days.

If date_text is out of range, the function DATEVALUE returns the error value #VALUE! .
If the year part in date_text is omitted, then Function DATEVALUE uses the current year from the computer system's internal clock.

Time information in date_text will be ignored.

Description
• WPSTable can store dates that can be used for calculations serial number. By default, the serial number for December 31, 1899 is 1 and January 1, 2008

's serial number is 39448 because it is 39448 days from December 31, 1899.
• Most functions will automatically convert date values into Convert to serial number.
