In the work of personnel administration, it is often necessary to calculate the employee's regularization date and contract expiration date.
So how to calculate the regularization date and contract expiration date?
￭Take this employee statistics table as an example, assuming that the employee probation period is 3 months.
Place the cursor at D2 and enter =DATE(YEAR(B2),MONTH(B2)+3,DAY(B2)) in the formula bar above.
The function of the DATE function is to convert the extracted numbers into date format for display.
The YEAR function, MONTH function, and DAY function are used to represent the date of a certain value as a serial number.
B2 is the entry time, MONTH(B2)+3 means adding three months to the original entry time.
Press Enter to confirm and you will get the regularization date.
￭We can also use the EDATE function for calculations.
Place the cursor at D5 and enter =EDATE(B5,3) in the formula bar above.
The EDATE function returns the months before or after the specified date.
=EDATE(B5,3) means to calculate the date three months after B5.
Press Enter to get the regularization date.
￭How to calculate the contract expiration time?
Place the cursor at C8 and enter =DATE(YEAR(A8)+3,MONTH(A8),DAY(A8)) in the formula bar above.
In the same way, A8 is the date of signing the contract. Since the contract period is 3 years, YEAR(A8)+3.
Press Enter to get the contract expiration time.
